Touristy Seattle

26 Aug

Amanda and I went touring in Seattle today. We started out by riding the Seattle – Bainbridge Island Ferry.

That allowed us to gain some unique views of the Seattle skyline.

After the ferry ride, we cruised through iconic Pike Place Market, which again provided some unique photos.

Great photos! I didn’t know photography was one of your talents. At the Pike Place Market, did you get a photo of a flying salmon? (Only a true Seattleite knows what that is.)

We waited for a while, but no one was buying.

Have you done Ride the Ducks? That’s super fun!

I had a friend who drove for them, but I’ve never ridden the ducks. Sounds like a good time, though.

Have some favorite memories of a similar ferry ride and visit to the fish market…when visiting a lovely B&B outside of Bremerton…Summer Song Cottage. Woke up every morning to a low tide and the opportunity to collect fresh oysters for a roasted oyster breakfast from Puget Sound, Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures!
