Live in hope, not in fear

During the first half of the NFL football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks on November 29, 2015, the Steelers went for a fake field goal. Landry Jones’ attempted pass was intercepted by the Seahawks Jeremy Lane, who returned it 54 yards to set up a touchdown. At halftime, Steelers’ coach Mike Tomlin was asked about taking the risk rather than going for the safer three points. Tomlin responded, “We don’t live in our fears; we live in our hopes.”

Some expect the worst and avoid taking risks while others expect the best and strive to excel. Some people play not to lose while others play to win.
