This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series on Prayer: Moving Heaven for Earth at First Central Bible Church in Chicopee, MA. We kicked off the series with a prayer walk for our public schools and will end with a showing of the movie, War Room. During the sermons, we will study the principles that should guide our prayers as well as the prayers offered by various individuals—Abraham, Jacob, Daniel, Jesus, and Paul. We will ask and answer the questions, “What does it mean when God is silent?” and, “What does it mean to pray in the name of Jesus?”
Here’s the schedule of the topics and passages we will consider during the series.
