Russia 2017 – Prayer update

11 Mar

Pray for Pastor Mark Wheeler serving in Russia

Slide 1From March 12-26, Pastor Mark will be serving in Russia. This is his sixth trip in seven years, helping to further train pastors and leaders in Tsibanobalka and Elista. As he has on previous trips, Mark will be working with John & Naomi Musgrave, missionaries who lead a ministry called “Mentoring Matters.” This ministry follows the example of the apostle Paul in Acts 13-14, helping to strengthen and establish churches by training leaders.

In 2011, Pastor Mark taught on the book of Joshua. In 2012, he taught on the life of David. In 2014, he taught on the Patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, & Joseph. In 2015, he taught on the life of Moses. In 2016, he taught Romans 1-8. Carol went along in 2011 and 2014 and served behind the scenes. This year Pastor Mark will finish teaching the book of Romans, chapters 9-16.

Thanks to your prayers and generous gifts, the trip is fully funded.
