Fall in the backyard

After yesterday’s rainstorm, I took some pictures this morning of the flowers and trees in the backyard of the parsonage. We may not be at the peak of fall colors, but we are on our way.

God’s handiwork on display

Fall foilage + rain + dark clouds = unique beauty. Doesn’t God do good work?

The beauty of God’s creation

IMG_1082IMG_1085IMG_1087IMG_1078The flowers and trees are certainly evidence of God’s creativity and glory (Psalm 9:1). What a great gift to enjoy!

Summer nights

A summer night at Pine Lake Park on the Sammamish Plateau. The park has certainly been improved!

Unusual trees

I noticed two unusually colored trees in our neighborhood.

One almost looks as if it is covered in snow because of the beautiful white blossoms.IMG_1075

The other is unique because it is out of season. The topmost leaves are already starting to turn color as if it were fall. Doesn’t it know it’s only mid-June?IMG_1071
