How do we live in a world that is turning more and more against Christ and Christians? How do we respond when people make fun of Christian beliefs and practices? How should we react when our culture becomes antagonistic and hostile towards the gospel?
Peter’s first letter is a call to holiness in troubled times, and a recognition that even suffering can be a gift from God. By focusing on Jesus Christ, we can find hope in a hostile world.
