Passing the Baton
The apostle Paul compares the Christian life to a race. We are to run hard and stretch towards the finish line. We are to lay aside every sin, weight, and hindrance that holds us back. We are to finish well. At the same time, we are to pass the baton of faith to the next generation of runners. We are to guard the faith well and hand it on to those who will carry it further.
The three messages in this series explore different aspects of the race. The first one asks the question, “How can we pass the baton of faith to the next generation?” The second message asks the question, “How can we finish well?” The third explores what happens when the baton of faith is dropped.
